Either/or

This Either/or is dangerous

It baits you in a tricky way

It presents to you as there are two choices

And you are too gullible to recognize its vices.

Sometimes you can choose both,

Choosing only one can make you loathe

Sometimes you can have the option of none

But you are deluded to anyhow go with one

Sometimes it makes you feel troublesome

But anxiety is just dizziness to freedom.

Sometimes it makes you feel depressed,

But its just that you are too obsessed.

Obsessed to not look beyond this either/or,

But beyond either/or is worth looking for.

There are new possibilities there,

Waiting for you to glance and stare

May be you are simply too busy to compare

But what you get is either/or mere.

Yes, there are constraints to stop you,

To assure, you have an obscure view.

But life is about living with the barrier,

And even then expecting, you couldn’t be more happier.

Sometimes it is really good to compromise,

For who knows, what is more wise.

But sometimes you don’t have to trap in either/or

And embrace the option of more.
